Appearance and features
The Munchkin has a broad softly contoured head, strong neck, large eyes, widely set ears and short legs with otherwise typical body proportions. Size: medium size, short legs. Weight: males: 3–5 kg, females: 2–4 kg. Coat: short-haired or long-haired. Typical colours: any colours.
Temperament
Munchkins are very playful, social and affectionate. They run, chase toys, learn easily and usually get along well with children, dogs and other pets.
